Welcome to the Active Bystander Responder course here at the Within Thin Lines Foundation.
We invite all non-medical trained members of our communities to take a course tailored and dedicated to their success in the event of an active assailant situation. The initial interventions that active bystanders have done to initiate bleeding control and life-saving measures have statistically made the greatest impact on the life-saving and support of the injured.
As students of our TECC Active Bystander Responder course will have earned 8 hours of life-saving training, gear preparation, and certification through the American Heart Association CPR, the NAEMT's First on the Scene First Aid, and Active Shooter response training, within a day of tiered education. All through the standardization and accreditation of the Committee of Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, as outlined in the guidelines below.
