"INDY MINI WITH A MISSION"
MINI-MARATHON
Welcome to our foundation's page dedicated to our mission to complete the Indy Mini Marathon 2026! We are on a mission to raise funds for a cause that is close to our hearts - the survivability and well-being of our First Responders and members of our Military Communities and their families.
At the WTL foundation, we believe in providing perseverance through communication and understanding, guidance through resources and education, and health advocacy through influence and coaching. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that everyone goes home safely. This is why we focus on imperative training, accredited education, access to dependable gear supply, and most importantly, mental health resilience for those who serve our communities and country.
This year, Flight Medics from a local MEDEVAC unit will be participating in collaboration of members of other units and members of the First Responder agencies, to complete the INDY MINI Marathon with a Meaning. While raising awareness to the need of mental health support and resiliency, this year's participation will be in honor of a fallen service member and first responder who lost his battle in mental health. All proceeds of this fundraising campaign will go directly to support the Robinson family in their housing, school, and livelihood needs.
Friends, Family, and Supporters of the Robinson Family
We come together with heavy hearts to honor the life and legacy of Israel Robinson of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who tragically passed on July 4, 2025.
Israel was a dedicated Army Reserve Flight Paramedic and Flight Instructor, a civilian firefighter paramedic, and flight paramedic whose passion for training and mentoring others defined his career. He devoted his life to service—caring for patients in their most critical moments, educating and mentoring fellow EMS professionals, and always striving to make those around him better prepared and safer.
Above all else, Israel was a husband and a father. He leaves behind his loving wife and two daughters, whose lives were built around the stability, care, and future Israel worked tirelessly to provide.
This year’s Mini with a Mission, through the Within Thin Lines Foundation, is intended to directly support Israel’s family during this unimaginably difficult time. All funds raised will be used to complete unfinished house projects that Israel had been working on and to ensure there are no disruptions or changes to the children’s education—allowing his family to maintain stability and focus on healing.
In honoring Israel, we hope that this event will also bring awareness to mental health challenges within the military, first responder, and EMS communities, as well as the importance of continued training and support for those who dedicate their lives to serving others. Israel believed deeply in preparation, education, and looking out for one another—and this effort reflects those values.
We invite you to support our cause by considering a donation as we send this Hoosier Flight Paramedic team to complete the Indy Mini Marathon with a special mission - carrying a littered mannequin throughout the event to symbolize their commitment to bringing everyone home. Join us in making a difference and supporting those who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe. Together, we can ensure the well-being of our brave heroes.
Your support, whether through donation or by sharing this message, is a meaningful way to stand alongside the Robinson family and to honor Israel’s service, passion, and memory. No contribution is too small, and every gesture reminds his family that they are not alone.
As a veteran-owned and first responder-operated charity 501c3, the Within Thin Lines Foundation stands dedicated to improving the training, education, access to gear supply, agency preparation, and mental health resilience of all first responders and members of the Armed Forces.
