This course is an advanced and intensive training program specifically designed for military and civilian medical providers, such as Military combat medics, corpsmen, and civilian SWAT Medics/TEMS Providers. This 64-hour course is aimed at equipping these professionals with the advanced knowledge and skills required to manage life-threatening injuries commonly encountered in the challenging and austere tactical battlefield environment.

• Course Duration: The TCCC-CMC Tier-3 course spans 64 hours, offering a deep and comprehensive education in combat casualty care.
• Course Objective: The primary objective of this course is to provide medical providers with advanced prehospital casualty care education and skills focused on managing combat casualties in austere tactical environments. These professionals need to be prepared to deliver the highest level of care in the field of duty.
• Curriculum: The course covers a wide range of advanced topics and skills, including:

1. Hemorrhage Control Management: Advanced techniques and strategies for controlling and managing severe bleeding, which is often a primary concern in combat trauma.
2. Airway and Respiratory Management: This includes advanced principles and strategies for establishing and managing airways and addressing respiratory issues in challenging conditions.
3. Trauma Shock Management: Strategies for the advanced management of shock, which may result from severe injuries in the field.
4. Burn Management: Comprehensive training in the treatment of burn injuries commonly encountered in the battlefield.
5. Pain and Sedation Management: Techniques for effectively managing pain and providing sedation when necessary.
6. Casualty Collection Points (CCPs): Instruction on setting up and managing CCPs for efficient casualty care and medical treatment.
7. Extrication Techniques: Advanced skills related to safely and efficiently extracting casualties from dangerous or hostile environments.
8. Communication and Documentation: Advanced communication techniques and the importance of detailed documentation of casualty information and medical care provided.
9. Evacuation Preparation: Strategies and procedures for preparing casualties for evacuation to higher-level medical facilities.

• Classroom, Lab, and Field Format: The course is typically presented in a format that includes classroom lectures, hands-on skills training in a lab setting, and field scenario sessions to provide a realistic and practical training experience.
• Operational Planning and Execution: This course often includes instruction in operational planning and execution, ensuring that medical providers are prepared for a variety of tactical situations.

The TCCC-CMC Tier-3 course is essential for military medical providers who may find themselves in high-stress and challenging battlefield situations. It equips them with the advanced skills and knowledge needed to provide top-level trauma care to save lives and support the overall mission. This training is vital to the safety and well-being of military personnel in the field. This course entails classroom lectures, skill lab stations, and scenario training. 

Upon completion of this course, students will earn the TCCC-CMC Certification and continued educations hours by NAEMT. 

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

**Military experience is not required. This course is open for both the Military Personel and Civilian Providers. If you are Active Military, Please notify us by asnwering the Active Military question as "yes" upon registration.

**Please note: Registrants must be active and licensed Medical Providers (i.e. EMT's, Medics, TEMS, etc) in order to participate in this course.

**Law enforcement officers are welcome and highly encouraged to attend. However, your training experience will be tailored to your LEO specific tasks and medical scope of practice. At the end of the course, you will earn the TCCC-Combat Lifesaver certification, credible for 40 contact education hours. Please select the TCCC-LEO ticket upon pruchase.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

**This course event includes distributive/distance learning assignments prior to arrival. Successful registrations will be emailed a welcome letter with directions and more information to the learning lessons to have accomplished prior to the in-person class dates. Upon Successful completion of the Distributive Learning, participants will be given an assessment evaluation on the lessons learned. Registrants must have earned a minimum score of 75% on the assessment prior to the start of class on day 1.

**Upon successful completion of the distributive lessons and assessment evaluation, the in-person course will include a review day, skills stations, and scenarios. On the final day of the course, students will be training in the austere environments of the local forest preserve for the final practical. Please take close notes of the information provided in the welcome emails, to include packing-lists and distributive learning lesson completion requirements.

**Registrants must have earned 100% participation and attendance for the duration of the in-person dates in order to achieve the final accredited end of course certification. Please read the policies within the registration process for more information regarding attendance and certification.

For informational, the day prior to class start should be considered your Duty Travel Day to training, and the day after class closure should be consindered your Duty Travel Day to HOR.
• If you require more time to pay for tuition costs due to DTS and Unit facilitation, please select "Manual Offline" payment option to register without immediate tuition payment. Invoices will be emailed out upon successful registration. Registrants can then pay via GOVCC or Unit Facilitation at a later date.
