Course Title: Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Combat Lifesaver Course for First Responders and
Military
Course Description:
The Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Combat Lifesaver Course is designed to provide first responders
and military personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage casualties in tactical and
combat environments. This course emphasizes the principles of TCCC, which are critical for providing lifesaving
care to injured individuals in high-stress situations.
Participants in this course will learn how to rapidly assess and prioritize casualties, control life-threatening
bleeding, and manage airway and breathing problems. Additionally, students will receive training in the proper
use of tourniquets, hemostatic agents, chest seals, and other essential medical equipment commonly used in
the field.
Through a combination of lectures, hands-on practical exercises, and simulated scenarios, students will
develop the confidence and competence to apply TCCC principles in real-world situations. This course will also
cover topics such as tactical field care, casualty evacuation procedures, and communication strategies for
coordinating care in a team environment.
Upon successful completion of the TCCC Combat Lifesaver Course, participants will be better prepared to
provide immediate medical care to injured individuals in austere or hostile environments, ultimately improving
the chances of survival for those in need of urgent medical attention.
Prerequisites: This course is open to first responders, law enforcement officers, emergency medical
technicians, paramedics, and military personnel who have completed basic medical training and hold a valid
certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent.
Course Duration: The TCCC Combat Lifesaver Course typically spans 3-5 days, depending on the specific
curriculum and training objectives.
Certification: Participants who successfully complete the course requirements and assessments will receive a
certification in TCCC Combat Lifesaver training, validating their proficiency in providing critical medical care in
